It was built adjacent to Mohawk Harbor at a cost of $330 million. This was part of a $480 million development of the former Alco site.

The Table Games Manager assists the VP of Gaming Operations to direct the activities of the Table Games department ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal controls, while maintaining a strong culture of guest service and satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

Assist the VP Of Gaming Operations with all aspect of the Table Games Department to ensure a smooth running and efficient operation including and not limited to:

• Responsible for live table games operations of the casino
• Responsible for all table game functions including the inventory of table game equipment, dice and cards.
• Safeguarding company assets located within the casino department.
• Establishing and enforcing rules and regulations of the casino that comply with NY gaming regulations.
• Planning and directing staffing, training and development of table games personnel.
• Forecasting and financial analysis of the department.
• Design and institute departmental policies and procedures.
• Game trend and analysis.
• Plan and manage business growth.
• Prepares budget and manages department to maximize revenues and control expenses.
• Hire and plan development of departmental staff.
• Communicate and ensure consistent enforcement of the company’s philosophies and human resource policies.
• Effectively handles customer disputes while maintaining the security and integrity of the games and customer satisfaction.
• Discretionary ability to extend complementary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix (Match Play).
• Takes active role in supporting compulsive and problem gambling program.
• Equivalent to a high school diploma with knowledge of game and dealing techniques. 1-2 years supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of table games, ie: blackjack, craps, roulette and specialty games.
• Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and Team Member relations as a priority.
• Supervise the Table Games Department personnel including hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating performance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• College degree preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in casino management, including Shift Manager or higher.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the Table Games industry.
• Knowledge of table games math, procedures, game protection, regulations and training requirements.
• Knowledge of table games, ie: blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat and specialty games.
• The ability to motivate staff through a teamwork approach.
• Proven leadership skills that include delegating as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and can form quick and productive business relationships with vendors.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with ability to create spreadsheets in Excel.
• Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to identify colors.
• Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment.
